Made in the 80s, Emily(tm) was organically raised by loving parents in the small town of Pratt, KS.  As she grew, she discovered her love for music, and learned to play the drums.  She became a fixture in several local rock acts.  Due to her sense of style and attention to peace and the environment, she began to be lovingly referred to by her friends as a "hippie."  She embraced this new moniker and its connotations, but could never abandon her rigorous attention to personal hygiene or her cravings for the occasional cheeseburger. The university experience brought her to Manhattan to become a Wildcat, and she soon found her true love: radio.  Several classes, tests, and late-night study sessions later, Emily found herself holding a diploma and on the doorstep of B104.7.  And so it seemed that there, she had discovered her new home.
